It's not every day that a Rhode Island hospital hosts a prom for its teen patients, but that's exactly what happened at Hasbro Children's Hospital in Providence on Friday, the Providence Journal reports.
The annual event is put on by local Dunkin' Donuts franchisees and is funded entirely by philanthropic support from the Hasbro Children's Leadership Council and local Dunkin' Donuts franchisees.
This year's theme was "Hawaiian," and the kids who showed up wore costumes inspired by the islands.
"It's a lot of fun," says one of the teens.
"It's a lot of pressure, but it's worth it."
