The Broome County Arts Council has announced the recipients of its 37th annual United Cultural Fund grants, and the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra is among them.
The grants, totaling more than $274,000, go to eight large arts organizations, including the Bundy Museum of History and Art, the Discovery Center, EPAC, the Goodwill Theatre, LUMA, Roberson Museum, and Tri-Cities Opera.
Plus, 14 individual artists and smaller arts organizations are getting up to $1,000 each for special projects, WIVT reports.
"Really you can see how UCF is encouraging not only growing our large arts organizations but encouraging people to create and contribute to the community," says BCAC Executive Director Jenny Chang.
