"We heard from inspiring entrepreneurs and discovered London's entrepreneurial eco-system all in one day," says a post on the website for Brunel University London, which is hosting its second annual London Venture Crawl on Wednesday.
The 10-hour event, in collaboration with 14 other London universities, is designed to give students "an unmissable opportunity to connect to real-world businesses, be inspired by the UK's vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, and gain networking skills whilst developing other core transferable entrepreneurial skills," per the blog post.
Among the businesses students visited during the Venture Crawl: the British Library, Business and IP Center, and Red Bull UK.
They also took part in a live pitch-off at Kings College London, where current PhD student Christopher D'Souza of Brunel won with his "excellent 90-second pitch sharing his business idea ProPrep," per the blog post.
D'Souza will now go on to compete in the 2023 Venture Crawl pitch-off against students from other London universities. Read the Entire Article
