If you're an 8-year-old with a love of music and a healthy sense of self-esteem, Baylor University may have just the summer camp for you.
The university is offering a week-long summer music camp for kids in the ages of 8 and up, starting Monday, the Houston Chronicle reports.
Baylor's School of Music is known for its world-class faculty and students, and the camp is designed to give kids the opportunity to "interact with the world-class musicians and music educators," according to the Baylor website.
The camp runs from June 15 to June 20 and is open to kids of all ages.
If you're not an 8-year-old, Baylor's summer camp for teens is also open to kids, and it runs from June 15 to June 20 and is designed to give teens the opportunity to "learn about music and music performance, get to know the faculty at Baylor, learn about our university and traditions, stay in a dorm on our beloved campus, and to meet some musicians from all around the state and the nation," the website says.
