The Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall and the Van Wezel Foundation have teamed up with Resilient Retreat to help people affected by trauma.
The not-for-profit organization "uses innovative arts-based approaches to help those impacted by trauma," according to a press release.
"Through this collaboration, Van Wezel teaching artists, who are professionally trained in therapeutic arts practices and arts-based intervention, alongside Resilient Retreat's certified trauma professionals, lead first responders, and helping professionals in the creative process to address burnout, as well as vicarious trauma," the release continues. Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
