Akron Arts Challenge Returns with Focus on Technology

The Knight Foundation is publicly calling on artists and art organizations to apply for the Knight Art Challenge during July.

Artists and arts organizations in Akron can submit 150-words to answer this question between July 1 and 31, "What’s your best idea for Akron Art?" The 2021 Akron Art Challenge aims to support artists to create innovations that can connect with audiences during the pandemic and use this as a basis to connect people with places and each other.

This year’s challenge is particularly interested in how artists use technology to attract audiences, enhance face-to-face experience, document creation, or expand the impact on those who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to experience art. Read the Entire Article
