Deveron Projects, a north-east organization that helps connect communities, places, and artists through creative research and development, has received £270,000 in funding to use a vacant bargain store in Huntly's main square.
The funds were the result of a successful application to the Scottish Land Fund. The vacant retail space will be used to expand the Huntly-based organization's services by creating a multi-purpose community hub.
According to Claudia Zeiske, director of Deveron Projects, will provide opportunities for artists and other creatives to have workshop spaces and to hone their skills at cooking and baking.
The funds are part of the £1,628,610 grants that has been awarded to eight groups across Scotland. Read the Entire Article
