In Singapore there is an active community attempting to inspire a new generation to pursue a career in the arts. They believe that inspiring a new generation to become inspired begins at an early age. The ministry of Education provides many pathways to achieve their goal. They are offering subsidies for art shows, and money for students to attend shows and performances.
For students that wish to further their pursuit in the arts there are scholarship opportunities. In addition to the scholarships there are also mentoring as well as grant programs. Singapore seems to be on track to achieving their overall goal to generate new interest in their arts program. By implementing these types of programs and continuing to implement them Singapore will insure that the arts continue to survive. Read the Entire Article
