Director Brendon Anthony the Texas Music Director has traveled many miles talking to over 1000 industry experts during the last year to determine how to make the music industry in Texas more current and connected.
Mr. Anthony, a former violin player with a country star - Pat Green, wants to tie the music industry throughout Texas to the economy. To do this he will do several things, including: starting Texas regional music councils, re-branding the music office with a marketing blitz, new logos, and a cleaned up directory, using an online presence (new to the office), and launching a brand new Texas Music license plate.
And finally, widening the education grant program to beyond the $1500 current limit for instruments and instruction.
