this year, 11 grants were awarded to Northland schools totaling $9,766.
The board includes students from Aitkin, Barnum, Cherry, Cloquet, Duluth, Hermantown, Superior, and Two Harbors.
Winter 2025 grants are: $1,000 to promote the teaching the performing arts to younger students.
$900 to provide equipment for teens to learn how to make toys and fidgets using 3D technology.
