Experience 'Music for the Mountains' in Raleigh: Support Hurricane Helene Relief Sunday

"If your heart is really for the western mountains in North Carolina, it's broken now."
That's what WRAL and Capitol Broadcasting Company's relief efforts say they've raised in the wake of Hurricane Helene, with more than $1 million raised as of Sunday night.
The money will go to the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina, which provides "critical resources to communities struggling to rebuild after the storm's devastation," according to the station.
The Music for the Mountains concert, which took place Sunday at Raleigh's Red Hat Amphitheater, was put on by the band Foreigner.
The band's efforts to raise funds at their shows have highlighted the generosity and empathy of concertgoers, and Sharp commends musicians stepping up to raise awareness for communities impacted by Hurricane Helene.
