$152K State Grant Money Supports Arts In Burlington County: Officials | Cinnaminson, NJ Patch

Sixteen nonprofit groups in New Jersey's Burlington County will receive a total of $152,000 in state money to support the arts, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports. According to the New Jersey Arts Council, the money comes from the state's Local Arts Grants program. "The arts are a big part of what makes our county such a wonderful place to live and raise a family our Board is pleased to support the arts with our own programs and by distributing these grants," Burlington County Commissioner Felicia Hopson says. Among the grant recipients, per the Inquirer: South Jersey Pops Orchestra: $5,000 to support the development of four unique full-orchestra programs to be performed in 2023 Underground Railroad Museum: $4,000 to support general operating support for this Moorestown for general operating support for this Moorestown for special project to expand the academy to accommodate special needs South Jersey Music Academy: $10,000 to support musical and visual events highlighting Suningive, the historical home and gardens our Board is pleased to support the arts with our own programs and by distributing these grants."
