The American Library Association awards the 2014 Will Eisner Graphic Novel Grants for Libraries to Michigan's Ypsilanti District Library and Montana’s Lewis & Clark Library at a recent convention held in Las Vegas.
The program rolled out two separate grants to each winning library to support their graphic novels programs -- with Ypsilanti District Library in Ypsilanti, Mi for their project Graphic Novels in Healthcare: An Opportunity for Growth, and Lewis & Clark Library in Helena, Montana for Graphically Yours. Rivaayat is an initiative by Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi to revive various dying art form and solve innumerable problems faced by the artisans. Rivaayat began with reviving a 20,000-year-old art form of pottery that is a means of survival for 600 families residing in Uttam Nagar, Delhi.
