Wilberforce University's Hounds of Sound marching band has emerged as a powerhouse.
The program has grown remarkably from 112 students to nearly 200 musicians over the last few years.
Director Virgil Goodwine II remains focused on his students' futures and the longevity of the band program as it expands.
The band has elevated Wilberforce's performing arts legacy, making national headlines for melodic entertainment.
