The Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation is now accepting applications for its statewide grants program, which will award up to $75,000 to historical and educational organizations in the state over the next four years, the Omaha World-Herald reports.
"The grants from this program help organizations such as museums, historical societies, and libraries with core education, preservation, and interpretive programs about community history," says Roger Lempke, president of the NSHSF board of directors.
"The history of Nebraska resides in small communities where families survived and later prospered."
Since its inception in 2020, the NSHSF has awarded nearly $90,000 to 126 organizations across the state, per the World-Herald. Read the Entire Article
