Under Governor Newsom's California Model, Cal State LA expands bachelor's degree program to San Quentin Rehabilitation Center.
The 81,000-square-foot San Quentin Learning Center includes an Education Hub building.
It was built in 18 months at a cost of $239 million in the formerly named San Quentin Prison, which was once one of the state's most notorious facilities.
