The White Lake Community Library in Whitehall, Mich., has been named one of America's "Most Intriguing Libraries" by Gizmodo.
The honor goes to the library's Reptile Room, which was named "one of the top 10 Reptile Room locations in the world" in the magazine's 2016 list of the world's best Reptile Room locations.
The Detroit Free Press reports the reptile room is located in the library's meeting room and features a variety of reptiles from all over the world.
The library's Reptile Room coordinator tells MLive.com that the goal of the reptile room is to inspire people to get more involved with their local public libraries.
"We want people to come in and be inspired," she says.
"We don't want them to leave empty-handed."
