Imagine a world where you don't have to leave your house to get help.

That's the idea behind the U1st Vision, a self-contained pop-up medical unit being showcased at VivaTech in Paris this week, the Telegraph reports.

The idea is to make it easier for people in remote areas to get medical help without having to leave their homes.

The pop-up is equipped with sensors that collect data on a patient's vital signs and sends it to a medical assistant who can check on the patient.

The medical assistant can then refer the patient to a clinic or give the patient advice on how to take care of themselves.

The idea is that people would be able to use the pop-up to get things like bike repair and electrical goods recycling done without having to leave their homes.

The concept was born out of a project called the Software R'publique, which bills itself as an "open innovation ecosystem for intelligent, secure, and sustainable mobility."
