Give Local Mov Raises More Than $518,000 in West Virginia


Foundation: Parkersburg Area Community Foundation

A 24-hour online giving campaign in West Virginia raised more than $518,000 for 67 area nonprofits, WV News reports.

"We had an extraordinary 24-hour here in the Mid-Ohio Valley," says Julie Posey, development and Stewardship officer for the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation.

The Give Local MOV 2024 campaign was put on by the PACF, which has more than 100 charitable funds.

"We have a vision for Lewis County that our region will be home to thriving communities with citizens that are engaged, resilient, and welcoming," Posey says. Read the Entire Article
