Starbucks is taking a stand against single-use coffee pods: The company has teamed up with recycling company Podback to offer coffee pods for recycling at all of its stores in the UK, reports the Guardian.

Customers can drop off their used pods at any of the company's 1,250 stores in the country for free, and they can then pick them up at any of the 6,500 Yodel drop-off points across the UK.

Podbackwhich has been accepting coffee pods for recycling since April 2021 in the UKsays the move shows "the considerable progress that Podback has made towards establishing a convenient and simple way for people to recycle used pods."

In other green news, Microsoft has signed a long-term deal with Ireland's Lenalea Wind Farm to buy 30 megawatts of wind energy, per edie. Read the Entire Article
