When Christina Reimche walks across the stage at Arizona State University's May 2024 convocation ceremony, she'll have more than just a degree to her name.

She'll also have received a prestigious Dean's Medal, given to students who have "demonstrated a steadfast commitment to academic excellence during their time at ASU," the school says in a press release.

Reimche, who is graduating with a bachelor's in communication, plans to use her degree to help children and families function at their best, the Arizona Republic reports.

She's worked as a research assistant and teaching assistant for the Hugh Downs School of Human Communication and theenny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics, among other things.

Heather Robbins, who is graduating with a degree in geographic information systems, has worked as an instruction design specialist at a community college in California.

She's also worked as the creative director for the Asian/Asian Pacific American Students' Coalition at ASU and interned at an elementary school in Phoenix.
