Students at a Pennsylvania charter school are getting a real-life taste of what it's like to be a pro when it comes to drawing and coloring.
The Gettysburg Montessori Charter School recently installed digital murals on the walls of its multipurpose room, complete with handprints, thanks to a collaboration between the school's art department and Graphcom, a company that produces graphics for businesses, the Patriot-News reports.
Students from kindergarten through sixth grade created panels of animal designs using technology that allowed them to color in their own designs as they saw fit.
"I thought they all were cool," sixth-grader Colletta Collier tells the Patriot-News.
"I think it was good."
The school's art teacher says students were "shocked" when they saw the panels for the first time.
"Seeing how excited the kids were with their creations was the best part," she says. Read the Entire Article
