For nearly 50 years, Marquette University's Raynor Library has served as the only directory of its kind for Wisconsin nonprofits, publishingFoundations in Wisconsin for every grant-making foundation in the state, reports the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
But as of Dec.
31, 2023, that directory will be no more.
The library has partnered with CharityEZ, a nonprofit volunteer and donor management platform, to create a new database on CharityEZ.org and on YouCanGiveBack.com that will carry on the library's mission to "empower funding seekers nationwide," the dean of Raynor Library says in a press release.
The new database will include information on more than 1,250 Wisconsin foundations, as well as more than 1.7 million foundations and charities in the US.
