The book, published by the Shelby County Mayor's Office of Innovation, includes photos of local landmarks and tells the stories of two young friends, Amir and Zuri.
Mayor Lee Harris says the idea for the book came from the mayor's office after he saw a children's book about Shelby County at a library and thought it would be a good idea to include local landmarks in the book as well, the Commercial Appeal reports.
