For 17 years, the Allentown Art Museum has held its annual "Cocktails & Collecting" fundraiser, in which silent and live auctions feature works by local artists.
This year's event, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, coincides with the museum's annual "All at the AAM" art fair, which runs from 10am to 4pm each day, reports the Morning Call.
There will be more than 100 artists on display, as well as a silent and live auction with works by more than 50 artists.
"It's a great way for us to raise money for the museum, but it's also a fun way for the community to meet the artists," says a museum rep.
This year's theme is "The World Is Yours," and the auction will benefit the museum's education programs. Read the Entire Article
