Bryant Welcomes 15 New Faculty Members to the University Community

"We are delighted to welcome new faculty members to Bryant community who bring a wealth of expertise, experience, and perspectives that I am quite certain will enrich our learning environment and inspire our students," Rupendra Paliwal, Ph.D., Bryant University's provost and chief academic officer, says in a press release announcing the 15 new faculty members who have joined the Rhode Island university this fall.

"I am impressed by our new faculty's dedication to teaching and the pursuit of knowledge, I know they will create a transformative experience for our students, and I am very much looking forward to our shared academic journey together," Paliwal says.

Among the new faculty members areeri Louise Dimas, who has a Ph.D.

in data science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and teaches both undergraduate and graduate data science courses.

Barbara Byers, lecturer in history, literature, and the arts, received her Ph.D.

from the University of California.

Mary Ann Gallo, lecturer in communication, has taught at New England Institute of Technology, Community College of Rhode Island, and the University of New Hampshire.

Amanda Fontaine, associate professor of political science, holds a Ph.D.

from the University of New Hampshire.
