Community Fund Grants Awarded

An Indiana community foundation has awarded more than $138,000 in grants as part of its fourth-quarter grants cycle.

The Community Foundation of Bartholomew County recently awarded $138,442 in grants to local nonprofits, as part of its fourth-quarter grants cycle for 2022.

Grant recipients are: Su Casa Columbus received $31,010.33 to support a Taylorsville program pilot in 2023.

Columbus Economic Development Corporation received $28,000 to support community delegation to Myoshi, Japan in 2023.

Bartholomew County Public Library received $22,963 over two years to support the Growing Readers program for children.

Arcants at Work received $19,350 to build ramps for disabled Bartholomew County residents.

The Heritage Fund helps local nonprofits meet emerging needs in Bartholomew County in areas including youth development, substance abuse, neighborhood revitalization, innovation and creativity and a welcoming community. Read the Entire Article
