The town of Prince George, British Columbia, is getting a boost from a not-for-profit foundation that's been around for more than two decades.
The Prince George Community Foundation has given more than $140,000 to community organizations over the last few years, the Chronicle Herald reports.
The group's executive director says the money is used to support a wide range of causes, from arts and culture to health and social services.
"We're very fortunate to have this board," she says.
"They're very committed to supporting the community."
