In the Community Consolidated School District 15, young students are getting new books in their classroom libraries, and Latino families are getting a new location for a program to help them get involved in their children's learning.
The Palatine Rotary Club awarded the District 15 Educational Foundation $1,000 for the books, and $10,400 from the foundation allowed the Latino Family Literacy Project to operate at the Palatine Opportunity Center.
