Richland County Foundation Board of Trustees has approved grants from several donor advised and designated funds totaling $25,651.54 to be distributed to a number of organizations.
Two grants totaling $11,166.89 were given to the Salvation Army, $5,000 to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greater Wayne County and $2,000 to the Richland Academy of the Arts, the Renaissance Performing Arts with $1,270.03, MedCentral Health System had $1,500, and $250 each to Catholic Charities, Friendly House, Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, Toy Time Inc., and Troublesome Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation. Funding for social enterprises and housing associations are extremely lacking.
